Dick Tracy is a peculiar beast – a comic book adaptation and an art film, a promotional tie-in machine and slice of auteur cinema. Everything Warren Beatty, the biggest movie star on the planet at the time, does here from a stylistic standpoint is fascinating, its just a shame its wasted on a generic story.

I met Tyler from Future Horse Podcast and knew we had to do a RoboCop double feature when he caught the reference to the savior of Detroit in our name. So I skipped the first sequel and made Steve watch this PG-13 trainwreck (perhaps as a little payback for The Star Wars Holiday Special) for his second foray against OCP.
